Woodward Reservoir is known first and foremost for its outdoor recreation activities, including:

Camping
You can stay more than a day at Woodward Reservoir by taking advantage of the camping facilities. Amenities include concession areas, picnic tables, restrooms, picnic shelters, and more. The 115 developed campsites are first-come, first-served; they do not take reservations. If you like a more rustic camping experience, the park also features undeveloped camping areas.
